Ralph James Harrelson II, lovingly known as Jim, passed away on Sunday, August 6th, 2017 from complications after suffering a heart attack in his home on July 31st, 2017.
Jim was born Nov. 17th, 1978 in Modesto, CA and was a lifelong area resident. He was a minor league baseball player, worked for 14 years for the Sheriff's Department, a local business owner, self-taught brewer and distiller, cared deeply about the environment and animals, and lived a life full of compassion for others that...

Ralph James Harrelson II, lovingly known as Jim, passed away on Sunday, August 6th, 2017 from complications after suffering a heart attack in his home on July 31st, 2017.
Jim was born Nov. 17th, 1978 in Modesto, CA and was a lifelong area resident. He was a minor league baseball player, worked for 14 years for the Sheriff's Department, a local business owner, self-taught brewer and distiller, cared deeply about the environment and animals, and lived a life full of compassion for others that was evident through his daily actions.
He is survived by his wife, Liz, and their three daughters, Mary, Brooke, and Katy Harrelson; his mother and step-father, Debra and James Jorge of Sonora; father, Butch Harrelson of Modesto; and siblings Misti Harrelson, Adam Jorge, and Luna Jorge of California.
Services will be held at Big Valley Grace Community Church (located at 4040 Tully Rd. in Modesto, CA) on 8/19/17 at 11:00 a.m. The graveside ceremony will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park (900 Santa Fe. Ave., in Hughson, CA) directly following funeral services. There will be a celebration of life afterwards at the Old Fishermans Club (10800 Maze Blvd., in Modesto, CA).
