Maria was born on August 13, 1957 in Chicago (Cicero), Illinois. Maria was the eldest daughter of the late Frank T. Murillo and surviving, Evelia S. Murillo. Having moved to Modesto, CA in the 70's, Maria was an administrative professional most of her adult life, serving various employers, lastly Samaritan Village in Hughson, CA where she was honored in her tenure there...

Maria was born on August 13, 1957 in Chicago (Cicero), Illinois. Maria was the eldest daughter of the late Frank T. Murillo and surviving, Evelia S. Murillo. Having moved to Modesto, CA in the 70's, Maria was an administrative professional most of her adult life, serving various employers, lastly Samaritan Village in Hughson, CA where she was honored in her tenure there as "Employee of the Year".
Maria leaves behind her loving husband. Tomas Rivera, her daughter, Theresa Zamora, her son, Daniel Rivera, and her grandchildren, Zulema Rivera and Xavier Perez. Maria is survived by her mother, Evelia Murillo, her sister and brother-in-law Rachel and Ronald Stone, her brother and sister-in-law Frank and Heather Murillo, along with nieces and nephews, Giselle Murillo, Elizabeth Murillo, Aaron Smith, Eric Smith, Sabrina Murillo, Tanner Murillo, and Tabitha Murillo.
Funeral services and committal in care of Lakewood Funeral Home, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA as follows:
Visitation, Tuesday, May 16,2017, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in which a rosary will be offered at 6:00 p.m.
Funeral Service, Wednesday, May 17,2017, 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at St. Anthony Church, 7820 Fox Road, Hughson, CA, and with a return to Lakewood Memorial Park, Peacevale Garden, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, at approximately 12:00 p.m. for Interment.
