A proud Oklahoman, born January 13, 1925, James Cleatus Boren was the youngest of five boys and one girl born to Alexander and Mary Boren in Duncan, OK. He was a WWII Naval medic. After being honorably discharged, he worked at Tillie Lewis Foods. Preceded in death by daughter, Betty Lou Sweeten, and wife, Betty Jo Boren. He leaves behind a daughter, Shirley (Johnny) Mercer, four grandchildren; Jennifer (Chris) McCormick, James (Stacey) Sweeten, Jayson (Brook) Mercer, and Jeremy (Jaime) Mercer, nine great grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.
